St. Kentigern (a.k.a. Mungo), who died in 612, was a monk and bishop who converted parts of Scotland to Christianity. His legend is full of fantastical episodes. St. Ninian was a 5th-century bishop who is also known for his conversion activities in Scotland, particularly among the Picts. The English translation of the Life of St. Ninian is available on the Internet Archive.
